my scenario would be as follows: I have a web-cam which only dumps video files on a network drive.
As I would like to have a real-time feed on my TV based on that video file..
- is there a way to tell the server to play a video file (ideally only the end of it) .. which is still beeing updated (in my case by the video camera)? (So the web-cam is writing this file and the DLNA server should be able to poll from it with minimal delay)
- could the server be configured in some way to keep polling that file also when reaching the end of the file, so that I don't have to manually re-start playing?
- should I better use any particular video formats that are stream based perhaps? If yes, which would be those?
