Great
When I was editing my last post you answered partly my questions
Thanksssss
EDIT:
About forced subtitles: I suppose that it is possible somehow because some DVD BACKUP SOFTWARES can recognize forced subs... or maybe it was software/hw dvd player? I am not sure now

I found http://download.videohelp.com/DVDSubEdit/
It detects it via "subpicture which has a forced-start command"
Also Source code available
Maybe another possibilities exists how to detect it(smal size=forced sub?) :)
Yes, there is FORCED flag
Check here:
http://dvd.sourceforge.net/dvdinfo/ifo.html#spatt
http://dvd.sourceforge.net/dvdinfo/sprm.html 63 = forced

Shagrath some news at these points? 8-)
2. possibility to detect forced subtitles in DVD structure/MKV files and show them as "forced" in TRANSCODE folder
3. possibility to load them automatically(forced subs) depending on AUDIO preference
5. maybe virtual folders?

Time horizont? Hint: never/one month/week/today/etc.?
Thx

Question for Shagrath
I tried to load forced subtitles for DVD images everytime when no subtitles are manually choosed but I am not able to do it.
I tried:
Code: Select all
container == iso && vcodec == mpeg2 && srtfile == null :: -forcedsubsonly -slang cs -nosync

First findout is that -nosync parameter is never added to final command line(also your default container == iso :: -nosync)
Second one is that srtfile==null doesn't work for DVD images(in past you already mentioned that srtfile==null should work with DVD images/structure)
Result is that -nosync is missing and -forcedsubsonly -slang cs is added always DVD structure is played and it is wrong.
Problem is that when there exist 2 czech [CS] sub streams, one full and one with forced text only, NO SUBTITLES are played at all because no one have tagged individual text parts as forced.
But when only one subtitle is present which includes full text and also forced text only, then it works as it should=MENCODER or MPLAYER will show only tagged part of text from "full" subtitles.
Please it is somehow possible to enable it only when no subs is choosed manually or automatically via subs prefference?
Another problem is how to detect forced subs when there are 2 same langtag. Sometimes first one is full, sometimes it is forced subs
It is possible to somehow detect it via size or other technic?
Last question is how to set preffered langtag when there are 2 or 3 same(full, forced, commentary)? I suppose it is not possible 8-)
Many thanks

nosync is a virtual parameter used byt the server to disable any sync switch from mencoder (-mc, -noskip)
I don't know if forced subs detection is an easy thing to do, it highly depends of mplayer identification process on this case

Thanks Shargart
And what about srtfile == null? It is supported for DVD ISO or not?
I suppose not and there is no equivalent for it as for text subs (.SRT, .SUB)
Thx
