I found out that when I will set some audio/subtitle priority, this settings is not used only for [MEncoder] "file" but all the time.
So if I set eng,off and choose eng audio+eng subtitles from thanscode folder, debug log says that subtitles are OFF.
I thought that priority is used only for first file in #TRANSCODE# folder with name [MEncoder] and not for exact choose with lang tag
- Code: Select all
[Thread-59] DEBUG 09:57:25.568 Search extension for I.Am.Legend.edition 2.srt
[Thread-59] DEBUG 09:57:25.575 Search extension for I.Am.Legend.srt
It is possible to show them both? Name is same as video, only the end differs...
Tried to test some combinations and found this:
- when no lang tag specified = subtitle name same as video file ====> PMS shows undetermined
- when correct lang tag specified = .cs or .cze added to file ====> PMS shows Czech
- when unknown lang tag used = .cz or edition2 etc. ====> PMS ignores subs completely
It is possible to fix these two bugs(hope it is not feature )
Also in this case not possible to use e.g. lang tag+forced info.... example I.Am.Legend.eng.forced.srt or I.Am.Legend.eng.[forced].srt or I.Am.Legend.eng-forced.srt....
It is possible to do something with it? For example when you have full subtitles or subtitles only for singing, it will be great to have possibility choose from both.
One another tip ==> it is possible to detect for DVD forced subtitles? Not only full subtitles or both but without any additional TAG as it is now. The best feature if it will everytime show forced subtitles depending on audio priority
