1.90.1 m4a Unsupported Data

Postby radamo » Sat Sep 07, 2013 12:29 pm

Using version 1.90.1 after a complete uninstall of 1.82.0 (which works flawlessly). Have Java V7 update 25 installed.
Removed old PS3MediaServer install directory before installed new version.
With a clean install when I try to play any of my music (all apple lossless from CD) all I get is "unsupported data".

Is there some setting I am missing?

Thanks for any help.

In Transcoding Settings > Common Transcoding Settings, click the video settings tab and type m4a into the skip these extensions when trancoding.

That gets the files to show normally but when you try to play them you get "This data type is not supported". So closer.. but still not there.
Thanks...

Just saw in the PS3.conf file a line that says:
# Apple Lossless Not Supported

Was this in older versions? .82 and prior all worked flawlessly. ????
