What started as a stuttering problem caused by the Java heap space out of memory has turned out to be a problem with a large number of files in one folder. I had been accessing a folder with more than 100 video files. Even after doubling the maximum limit of the Java heap space it would fail after playing four videos (see my previous post: Ver 1.90.1 Java Heap Space Problem w/Debug Log
). I reorganized my videos into sub-folders with no more than a dozen files in each. Now the problem has gone away. I have no idea what exact number of files will cause the problem. This is not a major issue, but prior to Version 1.90.0 which did not have Java bundled in it was not a problem. It would be nice to have a fix though.
