3. under "Custom parameters:" past the following:
Code: Select all
container == iso :: -nosync

container == flv :: -mc 0.1
container == mov :: -mc 0.1

container == mp4 && vcodec == h264 :: -mc 0.1

4. click "Save" (top center of the application window)
5. Close and reopen Playstation Media Server

Why does this work, put very simply this will add the following string to the end of the mencoder transcode command. The arguments for "-lavcopts" will now appear twice, but because our argument comes last it overrides the default argument with our own. the argument basically sets the transcode video codec to wmv and the audio codec to wmva2.
Code: Select all
-lavcopts autoaspect=1:vcodec=wmv2:acodec=wmav2:abitrate=448:threads=2:keyint=5:vqscale=1:vqmin=2:vqmax=3:vrc_maxrate=54000:vrc_buf_size=1835 -nomux -mc 0

Hi, this trick worked for me but just for 8 minutes. After that the playback always stop. Same is happening to you?

I'm having the same problem. 1.90 works for PS3 but not the 360. Suggestions in this thread to make the 360 work will fail on my PS3. Will downgrading to 1.82 have me lose any usability? I just started using this program with v1.90 back in October. Love it!

I'm having the same issue. Has there been an update for this? Is there some info I could provide to help resolve the issue?

I'm using version 1.9.1. Using the replacement config didn't fix the issue either.

I was having trouble viewing mkv format on my Xbox, tried this, and it would play mkv files for maybe 30-40 seconds or something, and with some swedish or norwegian subtitles or something, and then it would stop.

Anyone have any ideas on why that could be, or some different suggestions?

I looked at the code that I got from what I quoted in above post, and notice a buffer entry of 1835 I decided to try doubling it to 3670, and then tried that, and so far it's working great.

Nevermind, it only worked for some files.

Hi,
I tried out the solution on this page but what was originally a 69-C00D3E98 error on my xbox is now a 69-C00D36C4 error? Can anyone please help me with this.
