opening wifi, using it for pms and streaming to ipad

Postby lolmi » Sun Jun 30, 2013 1:52 am

hi there,

i seriously do not know how to search the internet for this problem and it seems that even friends of me do not know how to tackle this problem:

i have a laptop which is connected via cable to the internet.

i do not own a wifi-router to send out a signal.

so i have a nifty little program called "my public wifi" which used the build-in wifi connector of the laptop to send out a signal like a wifi-router.

this way, i can play ps3 and 360 online.

so, now i wanted to connect my ps3 and my ipad with the psm-program, but it seems that it cant find anythiing.

i fiddled a bit around with the forced connecting settings, but couldnt find anything good.

i hope any of you guys can help me out.

i hope this description was good enough to explain this problem.

Try Air Play It for PC. It is free. PMS does not stream to an iPad or iPod unless you buy some proprietary apps.

Search the AppStore (or Google) for "DLNA streaming".
