Postby ssjwizard » Wed Jun 05, 2013 8:04 pm

The site to get media info is here - http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en/Download

Its a very simple program

1: Click file>open>file
2: Navigate to the media in question
3: Select the video and click ok
4: on the bottom left side of the main panel there is a button with an arrow -> click this and select "Text"
5: Use the mouse to highligh all of the text, hovering over the bottom of the window will cause it to scroll if necessary.
6: Press CTRL+C to copy the text
7: Head on over to pastebin.com and paste the info.
8: post a link to the info in your help thread.

The end result will look something like this: http://pastebin.com/KgUzkuzD

Thanks. I've added an edited version to the Tutorial/FAQ. Note that MediaInfo output should not be copied and pasted into code blocks. As it says in the Problem Reporting Guidelines:

Problem Reporting Guidelines wrote:Log and config files should be uploaded to Pastebin.com or zipped and uploaded to a public file-sharing site e.g. MediaFire.
