Please help, cannot connect to PS3, no renderers found

Postby acushing » Sun Apr 14, 2013 10:22 pm

Hi, I was using this programme fine to connect to the PS3, now it suddenly does not work. I recently installed AVG pc Tuneup utility, which may be the cause of the issue, but uninstalling that has not solved the problem.

I tried port 6001 as suggested etc, and checked javaw.exe is ok which it appears to be. The 'Trace' window is shown below, and I see that AVIsynth has not been found. Could this be the problem?
Any help much appreciated, Thanks in advance

I've had the same issue. I can only either presume or conclude that something in a recent windows 7 update has broken 1.8.0. In support of this, I reverted to the old version, 1.7.1 which, funny enough, works without fault. Try this and see if it can temporarily fix the issue while someone develops a proper fix.

OK thanks I will try that. I noticed on my PS3 I can connect to the PC, but it shows no files present and says DLNA error 7531, 7530 in the corner. Google searches show a few fixes for this on the PS3 itself, but none work for me.

How exactly do I roll back to an older version of windows?

Ok... fixed. Rolled back the computer to a previous restore point prior to installing AVG, and now works again. Thanks

Eh, I didn't actually rollback windows, I just rolled back to the older version of PMS. I'd probably still use the latest windows version due to security issues.

Hello,

I just checked your log file and saw this:

Code: Select all
INFO  2013-04-14 17:10:02.288 [main] Using localhost address
INFO  2013-04-14 17:10:02.289 [main] Created socket: 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0:5001

Your PMS is trying to use the localhost address of your computer and only sees 0.0.0.0! In the General Configuration tab, you may change the setting on Force networking on interface to use your network card with the real IP address of your local network. I think that AVG changed the configuration in the network interface of your Windows and forced everything to use the localhost to scan everything.

Also, you need to update your VideoLAN in your server, you're using 1.1.9 which isn't supported by PMS. And don't worry about the AviSynth error, you may never need this engine at all.

Seeya!

Hi I am having this same problem "Created socket: 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0:6001"

Which IP should be forced? there are so many IPs I am confused as to which one I should using and forcing....

Thank You...I think this is my only problem...if this is fixed my PS3 will show up on PS3 MS
