How Do I Play mkv at 24p?

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but I cannot get my 1080p mkv files to play at 24p on my TV. Blu-Ray discs play great at 24p, on my LG plasma, using my PS3, but mkv files only play at 60p even though they are 23.976 framerate. How can I get proper 24p playback? I am in the USA by the way.

On PS3 24p is supported from Blu-Ray only. You can't get true 24p when using DLNA.

I got it to work...but like you said you cannot do 24p when streaming. Instead I used mkv2vob. I had trouble at first with the PS3 playing the audio just fine but there was no video. I had to use mkv2vob to transcode the file (I used MPEG-2) and I then transferred the resulting AVCHD folder to a USB drive and I finally got perfect 24p playback with 5.1 channel audio! Too bad you can't just stream the movie...but this didn't take too much time to do.
