Mkv and dts issue with mencoder resolved

Hello. First post. This past weekend I was really ready to pull my hair out as none of my hd movies were streaming as they always had been. All of a sudden after my upgrade to, 1.72. I think I have found the solution and excuse me if thisis oobvious as I'm not too computer savvy. I always used mencoder and it always worked fine. That's because old versions automatically used tsmuxer for my large files. Now you have to go into the transcode file on the ps3 and manually choose the tsmuxer. Why did thedesigners cchange this and cost me hours of research and reinstalling everything from java to cccp etc? Grrrrr.
