1.72.0/latest java PMS not showing up on PS3 (Windows 8)

I know there is a guide.. and I tried it but it is confusing I honestly did try for two days before I gave up and created this account..


I used to be able to get it working just fine.. No issues ever..

Then again that was on windows 7.. I upgraded to windows 8 and now the ps3 does not detect PMS.


I am normally pretty good with computers but this one is puzzling me.. :/ I have seen people saying that it works on windows 8... but everywhere in the guide it only says vista/7.
