Any way to set default encoder by render.conf?

I'm currently using multiple instances of ps3 media server with different configs, but I would like if possible for my android.conf to default to mencoder instead of avisynth/ffmpeg.

Is this doable by a line in the android.conf ?

Looking at the PS3.conf (which is the baseline conf with all options enumerated), it is not currently possible. It may be possible with a future build, but if and when that happens is up to the devs.
