Hello people
I just hope that I'm right here. If not, please do not equal stoning ...
Have on my Windows Home Server (WHS) to run the PMS as the Windows native version of the view to the client is totally useless in my opinion. The PMS shows beauti everything to the way I've sorted it on my server and without having to put on my space of time.
Now I have the following problem.
In WHS are 2 network cards, as well as 2 separate networks depend on WHS (2 apartments with separate networks and IP ranges).
To this end, I have the PMS also 2 times installed in different directories.
I can now start the PMS, it assigns an IP address to determine and save the whole thing. All this, I repeat after the start of the other installation and forgive where desired, different IP address and save it as well.
That works pretty well so far and just as long until the server is restarted times. Then there are still 2 installations, but both saved only with the last settings.
The reason I've found, the configuration is in a stored on the chosen installation location independent, common directory.
Since I was asked why I did it at all, the option to select a new directory?
But now to my question ...
Is there a way to configure it so that each instance only their settings (such as IP address, shared directories, etc) loads, or, if this were not possible, you can then in an instance and access more than 2 different IP addresses to allow? Then I could just share only the directories that should be shared by all.
Option 1 would make more sense
I just hope I have expressed myself as reasonably understandable.
