Why am i getting PMS connected to WMP instead of PS3?
on the Status screen, it is saying Status -- Connected, and Detected Media renderers is showing WMP icon.

Ive had this problem a lot too. I tried, quiting pms and restarting, restarting computer, restarting ps3, turning media player settings off then on the ps3 network settings, and nothing worked. finally I messed with pms general configuration, default renderer when automatic detection fails, and I set that to playstation 3, and viola! it worked for me

Actually my own solution is failing me now, all I detect is windows media server now.
