I've been unable to find my PS3 with the PMS since I installed an acces point.
The new configuration is in the attachment.
I have tried the following:
- Try forcing your IP address or network interface in the settings (this is the number 1 fix).
- Disable any other media server you have running (like Medialink).
- Make sure that you can ping your PS3, if not then it's probably an issue in your network.
Of this part though:
- Make sure there is no firewall or something else blocking the connection.
I'm not sure if the firewall of the acces point is the problem since I can't acces its' interface.
I'm not very technical and I have no clue of how to fix this.
The acces point is the Netgear WNDR3700.
I was wondering if anyone could instruct me on what to do to fix the problem. I wasn't having any problems when both my PC and the PS3 were both connected to the modem.
