Severe stuttering.

I have recently run into the problem of stuttering of the video on my ps3. I have been using the media server for a year now and haven't had this problem get as severe, avi files would periodically stutter but nothing this severe

When I update to the 1.60 version I found that mkv and mp4 files played flawlessly. Now I can't seem to get anything to play smoothly regardless of file type or size.

I updated my ps3 media server to the latest 1.72 and I am having the same results.

My computer specs are: Pentium Dual-Core CPU
2.8 GHz
4 GB RAM
Windows 7 64 bit operating system

As well as a wireless connection to my ps3 from my router.

Any help would be appreciated.......I am handy enough with computers to get everything installed and working but this has got me stumped.

can you try to stream mp4 directly and see if it plays fine. i think you and i are having the same problem
