I recently installed ps3mediaserver on my laptop and shared a folder of videos. The laptop sees the PS3, the PS3 sees ps3mediaserver. When I go to videos on my PS3 and open a video, I only see a black screen. ps3mediaserver shows 0mb/s as if it's not even trying to stream. I try under the option no transcoding and am also met with a black screen.
The videos work fine when I put them on a flash drive and plug that into the PS3.
Not sure what the problem is. I'm on a Super G wireless router and the video files are only 700MB - 1.5GB. It never gets past a black screen. I tried restarting my laptop and reinstalling PS3MS to no avail.
Please help.
