External subtitles, external hard drive to ps3

So I've been using PSM, for a week or so now, and I'm very pleased with it. It's great and works exactly how I want it, except yesterday I heard that you can play STR files with PMS, and that ofc is awesome, so I tried. I have a collection of movies with selectable danish subtitles. It works great on VLC on my mac, and the subs is selectable from the file.
So when I turn on PMS, and go to my movie collection on my ps3, open the files go into the transcode folder, and select the video with the danish flag, and in the name says "timed subtitles" they still do not appear, It's really weird. I've also tried the way of putting the SRT and the video in the same folder (Named the same ofc) and the play the file with the "external subtitles" in it's name, though it still don't appear. It's really annoying. I loved PMS before, but now I'm kinda frustrated, I hope some can help with this !
