Avoiding Transcoding to PS3

Hi,

I have a xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.x264-FoV.mp4 which is a AVC with a forrnat profile High@L3.1.

I am running 32-bit Ubuntu 12.04 and pms 1.70.0.

My question is do I need to transcode this and how do you stop it. My server is not that powerful

In common transcode settings in the bottom of the screen "skip transcode for the following extensions" , type in

MP4,MPEG-4,MPEG-4 AVC

Im not sure how this will work if its in an MKV (I have a thread open which I am trying to discover the answer to) but if its M2TS it will work for sure and if its MKV give it a shot, obviously remember to save then close and re-open before testing, if it works I would appreciate if you post here if its an MKV.
