How to define profile directory (PMS.conf)

Hi,

I read the FAQ and knew how to do it with GUI, but I just cant understand how to do it with PMS_CONFIG script on the Windows enviornment. Can some one help me?

Everytime I need to setup again if I reboot my Windows for the GUI version, so I wanted to know the script version.

Where should I place the PMS_CONFIG script if which file?

Now I learned how to use Windows environmental variable.

I came up with another questions. Please help me understand.

How can you run the multiple servers with different PMS.conf on the defined Windows environmental variable? It seems you could only launch the server with one PMS.conf because you could only define one Windows environmental variable. Although, I do know how to do it in the GUI version.

Also, how do I use pms.profile.path property? I just want to know if I could change the default PMS.conf path to where I want ultimately so that I don't even have to think about changing the Windows environmental variable after reinstalling the OS. I saw inside PMS.jar and found few property file but it was binary and uneditable.

You can set it in PMS.bat and launch PMS that way.

If you don't want to use the GUI, you can create a different .bat file for each profile.

Since I use Japanese environment, it seems that there is an issue executing the bat file by doubleclick but no problem by command prompt. So I used the Windows shortcut to avoid that issue. I end up using the following scripts;

Working Folder:

One last thing. It seems that -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true was required for my environment. Now I finally can open AND play from my PS3.
