No subtitles on PS3 with MKV files

Also, if I go into the transcode folder and choose [MEncoder]{audio:ac3/English}{sub:subrip/English}, I get subtitles for non English parts but it skips in parts?

Does anyone think that trying an older version of pms could help?

Might just reinstall my laptop anyway as its due a restore. Not sure whether to go straight for the newest version of pms or try and older one?

Reinstalled my laptop. Made no difference at all. Going to have to start the video from the transcode folder, wait for the buffer to build up and pray it doesn't skip.

Well I seem to have fixed it.

To get the subtitles to work I have to select the file from the transcode folder.

I have reduced the transcode buffer size from 600 to 400 to prevent the skipping. I also allow the buffer to build before playing.

So far so good.

Hope this helps anyone who has a similar problem.
