How to? Windows -> ps3?

Hi,

Like most, there's a plethora of media formats we all have...

I'm new to the ps3 media server... literally just installed it... now what? When I opened it... There is a BIG RED X, "no renderers were found", etc etc.

I have the k-lite codec pkg installed, have VLC, and a few other dandy apps, but not sure how to stream effectively to the ps3, or the xbox360 I have.

Any hints/tips/simple default how to's, etc... greatly appreciated.

I'm on...

i7, 920, 3.4ghz (oc'd).
12gb pc1600.
Multiple 1-2tb hdd's. C: is a 1tb SataIII.

6870 ATI card, also oc'd. (If that's to help w/ video rendering for any reason).

I'm willing to make a virtual machine if required also.

Side note for ya... that doesn't relate to what i'm asking. See the following as a literal line by line response to said post.

Basically going through the checklist of bullets, of what is/isn't problem.

Port issue, none, nothing is going live but pms,

Firewall of any form is disabled completely.

I can see the pms on ps3 np. I haven't forced any right or wrong ip, no need to.

Only one instance of pms, and javaw on tast manager, even after system reboot.

Only 1x live network interface presently. No "wrong" one at all.

See previous sentence for forced nic.

Permissions isn't problem. No AV, etc.

Taking long to register etc, it pulled itunes near instantly. I don't have to much there, under 1k songs, under 20 vids.

After UDP Broadcast.

Not firewall, not hamachi, not anything.

Router is allowing traffic,

Not linux, windows 7

Home network correctly setup.

Not subnet related, or anything similar.
