mp4 crash problems

Hi all using ver. 1.7.01 and streaming to a Samsung TV. Have been experiencing problems playing mp4 files lately. Most files will start to play and play fine for about a minute or 2 then I get a "Not supported audio codec" error message flashes on the screen and the audio goes silent, the video will continue on some with no audio while on other mp4 files the audio error maeesage is followed a few seconds later by a "Not supported video codec". I have done a clean install and still get the same issues with mp4 files with the default settings. I just want to add that mp4 files did play fine on earlier versions while streaming to this samsung tv using allshare. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please disregard above question as I have tracked the problem down to a firewall issue.
