1.10.5 won't show any files on ps3

okay, I was using 1.0 for awhile without any real big issues.

the other day I try the latest 1.10.5 and it shows up fine on my ps3, but I can't get any files to show on the ps3. first it takes forever to load ever so often the ps3 reporting media server error, then after awhile it says no files found! this is on both video and audio files, latest build won't let me see my files on my ps3 anymore!!

also files are on a network share, it that makes any difference, as I said it worked fine on the previous version.
