AMD 3800X2 (OC to 2150Mhz)
2 GB RAM
Wired 100mbit connection to ps3
Standard ps3 media settings
When I played 1080p on the PC at first there were some stuttering, so I figured that the CPU was choked as it constantly was at 80-100%. Then I read that it would be possible to offload some of the work to the GPU by installing: 'Media Player Classic - Home Cinema'. So I installed that and CPU usage went down to ~60-70% and the stuttering vanished on during playback on my PC. Great! However, stuttering remains when streaming 1080p with ps3ms.. (720p works fine).
Is it possible to make ps3ms utilize the GPU as has been done with MPC-HC or is there any other solution to my problem?
