TV Supports Embedded MKV Subs-But PMS Not Displaying

I have searched and searched(and then I searched) b/c I just know this question has been answered before(probably many times), but here it is. I have a Samsung PN59D6500 it DOES support embedded subtitles in MKVs and they play fine over USB. But I can't for the life me get them to play with PMS. Everything I found discussed the limitations of certain Samsung TVs that can only play .srt subs , but mine does! Any help is greatly appreciated.
