I tried something out; but it might not be what you told me to do
doesn't work though
I put my router's wlan ip in it
and put the hamachi for the filter[filter=block right?]

Code: Select all

Looks like you're trying to force the wrong IP address or port number:

Code: Select all
ERROR 2012-05-25 20:14:29.581 [main] A serious error occurred during PMS init
org.jboss.netty.channel.ChannelException: Failed to bind to: /192.168.0.1:2620

   at net.pms.PMS.init(PMS.java:468) [pms.jar:na]
   at net.pms.PMS.createInstance(PMS.java:811) [pms.jar:na]
   at net.pms.PMS.main(PMS.java:883) [pms.jar:na]
Caused by: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: bind

The solution has been provided.

Remove any entries you have in "Force IP of the server"
Your initial log showed you were using the wrong Adapter
"Using address /5.157.251.75 found on network interface: name:eth5 (Hamachi Network Interface)"

On the General Configuration Tab make sure you "Force Networking on interface"
on your device that is connected to your router/ps3. Which if you are attached via ethernet should be an Ethernet Controller of some type, your local IP address should be displayed next to it. If in doubt take a screenshot of the whole list and post it up.

"Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1030" is a wireless card.
Are you connected to your local network via wireless? How is your PC connected to the local network?

As I said, post a screenshot of all the interfaces and I'll see if I can see which one is correct.

Are you connected via Network cable?

realtek pcie fe family controller should be your motherboard's network card.

You have to be connected via a cable?
I was under the impression that you could do it with the router...
