Can't connect to PS3

I've tried the following:
- Set the IP to what shows up on the PS3's network settings (192.168.1.147)
- Changed the port to various numbers: 5005, 1080, etc.
- Install as a Windows Service

Windows Vista x64
E6750/2GB
Wired Network from PC to linksys wrt54g to PS3.
Had ORB previously installed on computer.

Yes, I've never been able to get it to connect. I've tried rebooting both the PS3 and PC.

I see that in your first post, you mentioned that you have installed it as window service. Could it be already running that's why when you try running it, it says that the port is already binded? Alternatively, you can try download tcpview from here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysi ... 97437.aspx . This application will let you know which application is connected and what ports are being used. Perhaps this can help you resolve your problem. Cheers!
