First of all, I'm looking to upgrade my CPU this coming week, but I need to clear up some doubts before I pull the trigger
Right now I have a Phenom II X6 1090t overclocked to 4 Ghz, It seems to do a fine job transcoding what I need it to, which usually are from 720p mkvs with at 2-3 mbps bitrate up to 1080p mvks 10mbps bitrate. it does so perfectly fine with 4 of its 6 cores
I'm asking just to be sure, the CPU i'm looking to upgrade is an i5 3570k, which is faster for transcoding than the Phenom II X6 with 4 cores so there shouldn't be a problem, right?
Before a week ago, I've been re-encoding all my movies and putting them in a USB drive, it worked fine, but it's quite lenghty having to encode all the time, moreso with 1080p movies, so first I was going to upgrade to a 3930k but I'd rather save 400€ and time if I can transcode/stream them instead of encoding if it's possible.
Next is about wi-fi
I'm streaming over a wireless 5Ghz 802.11n network from my PC to a Samsung TV (PC and TV are in the same room, router is in the next room), the PC has a 200-300mbps WLAN, the TV should have the same since it's connected with the same protocol, 5Ghz 802.11n, but when I open PMS I see this

it fluctuates betweek 25 and 40mbps, which is even slower than 802.11g
Now, seeing the speed and from what I've been reading one would think that's a no-go, but when I try to stream it goes smooth, no stutter whatsoever, so I'm sitting here all confused
I'm using SubJunk's last build (SB71 as seen in the screen below) and the settings are

All in all, I don't seem to have a problem which from what I've read doesn't make sense, the FAQ recommends a wired connection of at least 100mbps, 1 Gigabit recoomended and yet, I seem to be able to stream 720p mvks no problem with a much slower wireless connection? is PMS reading my TVs network speed wrong and it has the same speed as my PC? I've yet to try 1080p movies, will do it tonight and see if it stutters
I'm kind of (very) confused right now about this, but I don't want to buy a 3570k and find out I'm not able to transcode and/or stream smoothly and having to keep re-encoding or viceversa, buying an expensive 3930k just to find out that a 3570k and my wireless connection would have been enough to transcode and stream them to my TV.
