PMS Not Starting

Hello

I am running Vista and have installed PMS 1.3 but the same thing happened on the previous version.

After installation when I double click the icon to start it up, the hard drive has some activity, but PMS does not start. I do not see the GUI and there are no processes or services running in regards to PMS.

Any idea's?

I'm not really sure if it's any of this really.. but have you installed/updated Java - and are you starting it as Administrator?

Try this trick to run a userlevel PMS, that is not using NTService mode. Create PMS.bat script, give it an explicit path to a java.exe/javaw.exe launcher and give it a go. Enable last PAUSE line if you want to see any sysout messages.

Just to let everyone know, I re-installed Java (same version already installed) and now PMS works.
