Hi,
With some dvd's the subtitles are not shown correct.
On the place where the subtitle should be I see snow (black and white points).
When I test the dvd on my pc with VLC player the subs are correct.
How can I fix this?

Broken font cache? Mencoder creates font cache when not exist but maybe your one is corrupted so you need to delete it?
I am not sure where it is saved (depends on system OS and MEncoder/Mplayer version)
