Yeah you're right ExSport, the codec installation is why it will never be at the top of the engine list by default, but for those of us who do have codecs installed it is the option that is least likely to cause bugs.
The other points can be changed, though. It can be programmed to use the audio and subtitle preferences, and DTS, if we just use Avisynth to generate the video then use MEncoder to overlay subtitles and send audio in a different process. The code is already there in the program, it just needs to be pasted and linked to the relevant areas.

Good to know that it is possible to "remove" these missing features for AviSynth engine.
As I said, who knows that is he doing, AviSynth is not bad at all 8-)
And will be better with this Motion Interpolation feature and maybe also with DTS, Audio/Video preferences etc.
Great work as always!
Thanks

I just downloaded the new build in order to test the True Motion feature. But I can't get it to work properly. I never had problems streaming HD movies flawlessly. But with the TrueMotion function enabled, the 1080p videos stutter. So I checked the Bitrates while playing a movie.
Max. Bitrate: 184 MB/s
But the current bitrate is between 0-40 MB/s.
Transcode buffer size is 400, and I tried several video quality settings. The lower the quality settings i choose, the lower the bitrate gets. Althoug it says that the current bitrate is at for example 30MB/s, the status bar is only filled with 1MB and it increases really, really slowly.
My CPU usage is around 60% on an i5-2500k at 4GHz and about 26% of my 16GB Ram is being used. I also noticed that my network usage graph is alternating between 0 and 50% usage.

Where is the problem here?

For me it was too slow unless I had enabled multithreading and GPU usage in the Avisynth settings.

I have multithreading enabled and GPU usage. When I watch 720p movies, there are no problems. No stuttering or anything..
But with 1080p its like using WiFi for streaming HD content.

Yeah it might just be too intensive for 1080p on your hardware, and on most hardware configs for that matter.
The True Motion tech is very fast on its own (running straight through Avisynth), but what slows it down is that it has to go through MEncoder, and the combination of the two - since MEncoder has to encode 2.5 times more frames per second than normal (24fps to 60fps) makes it hard.

Maybe I will figure out how to make it faster, I'll look into it :)
