Extreme high bitrate streaming mkv?

I streamed this movie:

Quantum of Solace-BluRay-720p-x264.mkv

and the max peak bitrate was 110100kb/s.
Does that mean, a 100mbit lan is not enough? I only tested it with my gigabit lan, and that of course worked fine.
But I intent to use another PC for streaming in future, and that one has only a 100mbit lan card. ill it work?

Yes, but that discussion is about 30mbps or less. I get peaks above 100mbps, which I do not understand, because its just a 720p movies... it should not go that high at all...

The setting also applies to 100Mbit. The maximum bandwidth setting under the video quality settings does not seem to be working. The solution is to try setting mpeg2 quality settings to

keyint=25:vqscale=1:vqmin=2

I experienced the same issue. I actually set my settings to

keyint=8:vqscale=1:vqmin=2

And it has kept my bandwidth less than 50Mbit most of the time.
