completley random transcoding problem with certain files.

I've read many posts but can't seem to find anybody with the precise same problem as myself. I'm trying to watch 3D films on my new 3DTV, thus the files are huge, typically 13GB and 1080p. I don't want to compress the files as pixallation ruins the 3D effect. I'm streaming from my external HDD to PS3. I've tried converting from mvk2vob but gave up on it as I couldnt get it to work even with the fix. So started using PMS. I've watched several films without a glitch.

My problem:

The transcode buffer works like a charm on certain films but not others. Ive got everything wired, and don't believe its a network issue as its the same films that have issues everytime.

I'm certain then that it's the files themselves. but I don't know the what the problem is. If I wait and let the buffer catch up, the movie will then skip. Does anyone know why, and can the files be fixed to run smooth.
