Audio cuts in and out, but why?

When im streaming movies sometimes the audio drops in and out. Any ideas?


1 - Intel Core 2 Duo E6300, 2GB DDR2, Gefore 9800GTX+, 250GB HD + 1.5TB RAID1, Windows XP Home. Im using version 1.10.5 of PS3 Media Server
2 - Im using 100Mbit connection. Using a Cisco 2950 Switch.
3 - The problem im having is with audio only. When playing videos the audio feed will randomly cut out and then come back. The video keeps playing but the audio will just quit out and come back. This only happens with some videos, but when i play these videos on my computer they works fine.
4 - The only tools i have installed are: AviSynth 2.5, CoreAVC Professional Edition, ffdshow [rev 2787], Haali Media Splitter, VLC Media Player 0.9.8a
