Problems connecting :o(

Postby yloop » Sun Mar 22, 2009 7:49 pm

Hi all,

Did a search but the solutions that seem to have been posted so far don't work for me.

I have a vaio laptop running XP SP3, it's connected wirelessly to my router which in turn is connected wirelessly to my PS3

PS3MS can see my PS3 fine, but the PS3 always comes back with "No media servers found"

I've disabled my firewall and turned on uPNP on my router, My PS3 is signed into PSN so that's all working correctly

Log is below (Laptop is .0.2, ps3 is .0.6):

Quick bump, been trying all day today to no avail, I'm starting to wonder if there's some problem with my router. WMP11 can't connect either, it doesn't even find my PS3

I seen 2 or 3 users experiencing this as well... the ps3 does connect fine and retrieve the server description file (with this, the server displays "ps3 found")...
then, nothing asked from the ps3 anymore...
sorry but I don't know the cause
