problem with streaming

[Hukkel]

I am going to give this a go as well. Today I added a gigabit switch and have a 1000n lan now but it doesn't change a thing. I still have issues with it

[Hukkel]

It didn't help for me

I am wondering. Should port 5001 be forwarded on both the PS3 and the PC or just the PS3? Because now I only have the PS3 forwarded.

[Bdoubles]

Thank you for saving my pc ,ps3,tv,sanity and my money!(was going to turn cable back on!)
But not anymore! I've been trying figure out how everyone else was streaming from pc to ps3 but not me
I was going crazy new computer ,router,tv and ps3 and no streaming

But it works great thanks to your fix I stream hd and the whole 9 without any problems hell I played world of crackcraft while the family watched amazon prime streamed from the pc i was playing wow on with no problems
Thanks again

[hilltj]

I have solved it, for my part. Here is what i did:

1. Device manager -> Network adapters
2. Right click on the network adapter. In my case it was "realtek gbe family controller driver". Click properties.
3. Advanced
4. No you can choose from "Property"
5. Deactivate "Large send offload" for IPv4 and IPv6

I suppose that the network adapter has some kind of a limit
Hope this works for you with the stutter problem.

Registered just to tell you I love you. Been at this for hours. Thank you.

Just to clarify, I also have an ASRock motherboard with a similar on-board NIC, and this device manager trick fixed it in 15 seconds. Thank you thank you!

[digitalmikey]

Thank you!

[mhyokki]

I have the same motherboard and issue. Thanks to you, I have it now working. I couldn't have found the culprit without you!

I just wanted to register for the site to say thank you very much! This fix worked in my situation. Thank you very much again!
