FreeBSD 7 / FreeNAS .7

Hello all,

I just stumbled across this program randomly when searching the internet. I have been trying to find a way to stream downloaded TV shows (720P, mostly MKV) to the PS3 with no real success. So I decided that I would just end up building a Home Theater PC and run linux on it. Well now that I found this program and could possibly not need to build a HTPC I'm very happy.

I plan on making my own NAS (Network Attached Storage) server and run FreeNAS on it. That is where I would like to have all my media reside as my desktop is a power hog as it was designed for gaming. Since FreeNAS is based on FreeBSD I was wondering if it is possible to run PS3 Media Server on a BSD based system?
