But what about your 750MB video file which PS3 will not play it natively and you use MEncoder? Then video will be up to 10x bigger...
I think that faked and "not-faked" size will be enough when in option could be enabled/disabled.

Will we be able to select enabled/disabled "faked" and "not-faked" size right from the PS3 Cross Media Bar? Or will we have to do it from PS3 Media Server on the computer?

Request was made to be able change it via PS3 directly. I suppose due to performance drop it will be operatively enabled only when you will need to copy some files and then you disable it again
