Problems when connecting via ethernet cable

Postby forafreak » Sun May 27, 2012 9:01 pm

Hello,

I have used PMS for a while by connecting my PS3 and my iMac wireless via the zyXEL P-2812HNU-F1 modem. Due to the lack of speed I want to set up a ethernet connection with a cable. Both my iMac and PS3 are now connected to the modem and i'm able to ping between these devices. I aslo set the right network interface in the General configuration of PMS (en0). But it is not working, PMS says no renderers were found and in Traces I see the server is unable to bind to 1900.

Whet I put everything back to a wireless connection it all works fine again. So I think there must something be misconfigured in the router. Does anyone have an idea what can cause this problem?

Make sure the PS3 is using the wired connection: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3507&p=31460#p31460
