DTS audio to S/PDIF with UPnP - working file!

When I saw that I thought shagrath was keen I decided to try out my 5.1 system.
I really want 1.5Mbps DTS 5.1 (384kbps DD5.1 is fairly average).
I downloaded Logo-DTS.mpg to the PS3 via PMS and tried and tried to get DTS out of it.
No luck, the receiver just sits there saying detecting...
As soon as I increase or decrease the PS3 volume from 0 I hear rubbish audio data, so I guess the volume is correct at 0.

I am really hacked off

Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated (baring the obvious, time to spend more money on a different + better audio system).

->BD/DVD Audio output (HDMI) = Bitstream
->BD/DVD Audio output (Optical Digital) = Bitstream
->Music Settings->Bitmapping = Type3

->DTS5.1 = on
->AAC = on
->Linear PCM 2ch 44.1kHz = on
->Linear PCM 2ch 88.2kHz = off
->Linear PCM 2ch 176.4kHz = off
->Linear PCM 2ch 48.0kHz = on
Audio volume set to = 0 'Normal'. Possible range [-4...0...+4]

Audio System
============
Logitech Z-680 5.1 THX DD / DTS 5.1 via optical digital.
Works fine when playing DTS 5.1 from DVD's in the PS3.

You have to make sure that PMS not transcode the test movie , disable totally subttiles

After having no luck streaming from the PMS, I downloaded the file to the PS3's hard drive.
Unless the file lost something on the way down (unlikely) then any problem are down to the PS3 setup only.

Hence the post, I think I am out of options...

You should check your settings, since its working like a charm on my Z-680.

You also should have channels configuration (icon next to the volume) set to 'Left+Right'

well I done the coding yesterday (it was not so hard to figure it out with such hints :p) and it seems to be ok (I have no dts so hard to tell) :p
I'm now working on the DTS-HD part, to extract just the core and use the same technique
E-AC3 is maybe a possibility too, but now I really need to buy a new receiver :p
I think I will release a beta in a few days

Thanks for the feedback on getting my Z-680 doing DTS.
It is great to know some else has a Z-680 working, so it is just me having finger trouble...

I have tried Bitstream / PCM and Left -> Right -> Left + Right.

I will keep trying tonight, and then try shagrath's beta.

Update:
I still have had no joy getting Z-680 detecting DTS from PS3.
I also tried bypassing my '5:1 HDMI+TosLink+Coaxial switch' with a direct optical digital cable, no change.
This setup decodes DTS from either my Media Portal HTPC or the normal PS3 DVD / Bluray playback.

I have a H/K AVR255 and i can't get the DTS Logo to sound right. Just get the static, and yes, I have checked the volyme on the PS3

Can someone maybe do a step by step config for the PS3 settings.
And the settings needed in PMS (1.10.51)

The PS3 is connected through HDMI to the reciever.
