Can I delete

After I have watched a series or movie, can I delete it through the PS3
or do I have to delete it from the computer ?

If I can delete through the PS3, how do I do that ?

AFAIK the DLNA protocol doesn't directly allow a client to delete media off the server, so this would have to be hacked, probably as a virtual #Delete# folder. But I would assume there are other playback and functionality features that will get placed well above this request.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but if it's not possible to delete a file, is it possible to move it to another folder? If so, we could just create a folder called "Manual Delete" or something and move watched stuff there from the PS3, and periodically go to the PC and delete it's contents to save on HDD space.

Is this possible?

Yes, go to your computer e.d, open your file browser, go to the map where you store your films and move them around or delete them.
Not possible via PS3.

If PMS supported to execute BAT/SH this could be done realitvely easy.
