Media Library Thumbnails

I have had problems getting my media library to update with all my media but seems to be fine now. Seems that the media library does not display thumbnails even though they are there. I have 4 drives with movies so the media library puts all 4 in alphabetical order but no thumbs. Doing something wrong?
