PS3 Media Server

While older versions had better syncing then the newer versions.

I was thinking you could add a java timer to refresh / rescan for for systems.

EX: One minuet timer to scan for clients / systems.

I was thinking that the refresh timer was removed or corrupted?

I think he means the refresh of renders?

I've noticed it too:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11559

It takes up to a couple of minutes sometimes before PMS sees my TV.
Prior to 1.30.1, PMS saw my TV in a matter of seconds.

It's not the issue of files being refreshed, that's not a problem having to navigate in and out of a folder to see the new files.

Exactly.

But I am using a wired connection to my PS3. Last time I used wifi the files refreshed as well did the connection to the PS3 via PC.

With wired I have to restart PMS if I get the "PS3 has not been found. Is it on? You can also check traces and/or configuration, or also debug.log file". I can leave my PS3 on and it won't connect to the PMS. Unless I restart PMS and it syncs in a matter of 4 seconds.

Also I've noticed that if I have my PS3 on and restart my PC, PMS as a startup windows service it will not connect. Unless I kill it and reopen it.

I can't remember what version worked the best. But I know it was with the green play button icon, a version or two before the last of the green icon.

What if the problem disappears on any prior version than 1.30 ?

Post the debug.log so we can see the M-Search come in and PMS's response - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3507&start=30#p38484

Here is my Debug. I set a timer for 10mins and it did not connect to the PS3. Though I see it sending a alive check on the debug.
