Postby malac » Sat Jan 31, 2009 10:17 am

Hi @ all

I installed the PMS on my ubuntu 8.10.
unfortunaltly it doesn't find my PS3
Ok no player is installed but can this be the reason for not connecting to the PS3 - don't think so.
what did I do wrong?

Hi Malac,

I had this exact problem when I fist used PMS on a Linux system. The fix I found was to install a player. In installed FFmpeg becasue that had the least number of additional packages to install than any other player.

There is another post in this forum where Shagath has indicated the issue may be UPnP related and V1.04 may fix this. But int he mean time try installing FFmepg - it worked for me.
