DVD video without mencoder?

Postby heddhunter » Fri Jun 26, 2009 3:06 am

Is it possible to remux DVD's stored as VIDEO_TS folders without using mencoder to transcode the video? I don't want subtitles, and my server is fairly underpowered, so mencoder is taking 80% cpu just to convert the DVD video.... which shouldn't be converted anyway.

Found this on another thread and it seems to work:

codec_spec_script = container == iso && vcodec == mpeg2 && srtfile == null :: -ovc copy -nosync

Add that to PMS.conf and restart.
