No Playback of mkv and avi+srt

[Floyd]

First, great program!!!

After serious problems all works fine except streaming MKV and AVI with external subtitles (SRT). When i am playing an avi+srt i got this in the debug.log:

After i removed all the -ass*, the program thems to work fine. Ist there somewhere an option to to this?

you can try to disable ass subtitles in the server's mencoder config panel

i have tried that, the '-ass' options are gone. But then there are others witch are also not supported by mencoder.
If i totally disable external subtitels, it work fine, but i think this is not the way.....

So my question is: Witch version /build do you use / do you recommend?

Hello,

First time user around here
Loving the ps3mediaserver for windows
But... I've recently switched to dual boot with Linux Mint 7 (I believe this is based on Ubuntu?)and I'm now trying to get ps3mediaserver to work.

Everything works apart from the same issue as Floyd has.
I can't seem to solve this problem, but i'm really big noob in this linux environment as well

How can i check the version of FFmpeg? etc..
If check the package manger is says i have version 3:0.svn20090303-1..

Just open a Terminal and type 'ffmeg' in there.
I didn't find any RPM with the actual Version, so i have to compile it myself.
