Config file ignored since upgrading

I just upgraded to 1.10.5 from whatever version I was current in mid February (when I first installed it) and now it seems to be ignoring my config file. The only thing I have in it is the folders setting as I don't want my flatmate to have to traverse my server's file system when wanting to watch stuff when I'm not around.

I'm running it in headless mode although I did try opening up the gui, saw that the folder appeared there and used the save button. Still no luck. The config file is in the PMS folder (/usr/local/sbin/pms) and my home folder.

Any ideas?

Where do you start the PMS from ?

What is the current directory when you start PMS.sh ?

I found some script to make a daemon for it so that it starts when the server starts :

Then I would check file-access rights and ownership on those files in "/usr/local/sbin/pms".
