Audio corrupt when playing certain video files

Postby powerfulsquid » Sat Jan 11, 2014 8:14 pm

So, as the topic suggests, when I play certain video files the video plays fine but the audio doesn't properly play. The best way I can describe it is as one long, continuous "EERRRRRRR". It almost sounds like cell phone interference with speakers only it's steady and continuous.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

I'm running PMS on Fedora 19 right now.

Follow the forum rules (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=496) to provide additional information.
I'm guessing the file has DTS audio and either a) something is not configured correctly or b) a device doesn't support DTS.
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.
